CME - Continuing Medical Education :
The Medical science is growing in leaps and bounds. It is said that each month it
grows by 8%, so in a year it grows approximately by 100%. A person who does not
update his knowledge for one year will be practically 100% behind in knowledge.
To keep the motto of providing better health to the public, the physician must be
updated with the daily developments in the field of medicine
“Continuing Medical Education (CME) consists of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession. The content of CME is that body of knowledge and skills generally recognized and accepted by the profession as within the basic medical sciences, the discipline of clinical medicine, and the provision of healthcare to the public.

As planned earlier, Continuing Medical Education (CME) program was held in Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad on
December 23rd, 2007. About 300 physicians and other health care professionals benefitted from the program. About 8
speakers from the USA delivered lectures on different topics. Honorable speaker of A.P Assembly Suresh Reddy garu,
was the Chief Guest and Dr. Krishnam Raju garu, Vice Chancellor , NTR University of Health Sciences was the guest of

website today. As you might be knowing all medical colleges in state of A.P are now under NTR University of Health
Sciences.
Regional meeting and CME was held on October11-12,08 in Westin Hotel in Lombard Yorktown Center,Lombard,Illinois.Category 1 credits were given thru Allegiance Health
